Terms of Service

Skeleton, not finished text. The structure follows what Polish and EU law requires of a provider established in Poland, but the wording is a template and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Fill in the bracketed placeholders and have it checked before you start selling. When it is approved, delete this note and set draft: false.

The Polish version is the binding one for consumers in Poland; keep both in sync and say in section 12 which language prevails.

1. General

The service is provided by [COMPANY NAME], registered office at [ADDRESS], registered under [REGISTRY NUMBER], VAT ID [VAT ID], email [EMAIL] (the "Provider").

These Terms govern the use of [SERVICE NAME] at [SERVICE URL] (the "Service").

2. Definitions

• User — anyone using the Service.
• Consumer — a natural person acting outside their trade or profession, including a sole trader where the contract is not of a professional character for them.
• Account — the User's data in the Service, available after signing in.
• Subscription — a paid service billed in recurring periods.
• Credits — units that entitle the User to use features of the Service, either included in a Subscription or bought as a pack.

3. Scope of the service

4. Technical requirements

A device with internet access, a current browser with JavaScript and cookies enabled, and a working email address.

5. Account and formation of contract

The contract for the Account is concluded when the email address is confirmed. The Account is free and the User may delete it at any time in account settings. Deleting the Account does not remove accounting records the Provider is required by tax law to retain.

6. Payments, Subscription and Credits

Prices are shown [GROSS/NET] in [CURRENCY]. Payments are handled by an external payment provider; the Provider stores no card data.

Credits included in a Subscription are valid only within the billing period in which they were granted and do not roll over. Credits bought in a pack do not expire. Credits are spent starting with those that expire soonest.

7. Right of withdrawal

A Consumer may withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason.

When ordering, the Consumer may request that the service start before that period ends. In that case the Consumer acknowledges that the right of withdrawal is lost once the service has been fully performed, and that on withdrawal during performance they pay for what was provided up to that point.

8. Complaints

Complaints go to [EMAIL]. The Provider answers within 14 days of receipt, by email.

9. Liability

11. Changes

The Provider may change these Terms for good cause, notifying Users at least [NUMBER] days before the change takes effect. A User who does not accept the change may terminate the contract before it does.
